(håber i kan leve med den er på gebrokkent engelsk)
It seems that nothing works. WinLIRC doesn't get any data when i press a button on the remote.
I've built my own receiver based on the schematics here, but used USB power: http://www.lirc.org/receivers.html
The exact construction is:
I use an SFH5110-36 chip
Vcc is connected to USB 5v power
Out is connected to DCD (p1) on the serial port
GND is connected to GND (p5) and USB Ground
Between Vcc and Gnd is a 4.7µF capacitor
Between Vcc and Out is a 3.3K resistor (also tried with 6.8K)
When connecting the Out fom the IR-chip with GND, I see that WinLIRC receives a pulse and a space, so the cable works.
There are 4.98 volts on the Vcc at the IR-chip.
I've tried on 2 PCs, one with Intel 855P (ICH4M) and one with Nvidia Nforce 2 IGP-T, same result.
I've tried 3 remotes, one for Philips TV, one for Sony receiver, and one for United DVD player
I use Windows XP Pro and winlirc-0.6.5
Still, nothing works. Is my IR-receiver dead or what?!?
